Tabitha (she/her) has been playing flute for over two decades. She learned piano basics as a very young child, then discovered an interest in the flute throughout her middle and high school band experience. Tabitha went on to minor in music at Western Washington University, earning what her academic counselor would call “too many performance credits.” Oops. Tabitha’s love for music continued after graduation; by day she pursued a decade long career in social work, and by night she accepted gigs in churches and orchestra pits. She has recently left social work due to capitalistic and exploitive burnout (yes, even in the non-profit world), and now has shifted toward music and artistic endeavors to find humanity, healing, and playfulness.
